Meet Seneca

Hi! I’m Seneca O’Bryan, a designer who lives at the intersection of visual identity and user experience. I have degrees in Graphic Design (B.A.) and Interaction Design (B.S.) from Champlain College, which have given me this unique perspective on how brand aesthetics and intuitive interfaces can work together to tell better stories and solve real problems.

I’m obsessed with systems in aviation and the relationship between technology and humans. In my work I strive to create memorable, bold, and intuitive interactions that leave lasting impressions on audiences.

For me, design isn’t just about visuals; it’s about blending functionality with life in the most creatively curated ways, and I’m committed to pursuing growth in every facet of my work.

  • Still Seneca LLC — Web Design, UX/UI Design, Brand Elevation, Photography — Founded and operate a creative studio specializing in web design, user experience, digital marketing and photography. I design and enhance client websites for improved usability and visual impact, while implementing tailored marketing strategies to boost client acquisition and digital presence.

    BootstrapVT — Graphic Design & UX/UI Lead — At BootstrapVT I work directly with clients and on in-agency teams to provide marketing support through brand photography, print materials, website design, UX/UI design, content creation, and anything else that clients can throw at me.

    Blackstone — UX Resource — For a self-led, remote, contracted position at Blackstone, the cybersecurity team asked me to step in alongside AWS and conduct a full audit of their internal software platform. The role focused on enterprise UX research, empathy interviews, usability analysis, prototyping, and design thinking processes to improve complex internal workflows related to IT and cybersecurity initiatives for efficient success across teams. The contents and final work from this contract is protected under NDA but I would be more than happy to expand on this further conversationally.

    Champlain College “Rising Star Award” — Awarded annually to one undergraduate student in each Creative Media major. The awardee is nominated by multiple faculty members for displaying qualities of an outstanding student and designer/creative in their respective discipline. (Fall 2023-Spring 2024 School Year)

    SkillsUSA VERMONT 2023 Graphic Design: Gold Medalist — Created a T-Shirt Design utilizing 4 spot colors to be screen printed on 150+ shirts, each worn by other gold medalists in various SkillsUSA competition categories. Was invited to represent the state for graphic design at the National SkillsUSA Conference.

    Tier II IRC Graphic Design Portfolio Recognition — Was recognized for my graphic design portfolio in 2023

  • When I'm not busy designing or snapping photos, you’ll probably have a hard time catching me as I’ll either be on a plane to somewhere new, lost in a record store, or people watching in an airport terminal.
